Please see the attached Chinese Flyer and a English version of the DISC program to be held in June 14-15, 2017. The DISC program is offered by the SEG. This is the first time that SEG ever try to come to Taiwan for offering the short course related to EM exploration. Your active participation will bring in similar courses later if the amount of participants are high. The course offered this year is a two-day program covering the fundamentals and related applications.

Those who is work on geothermal, near-surface geophysics, environmental issue including waste dumps/leakage/radioactive pollution, marine EM, deep earth structure, ground water hydrology, on- and off-shore multi-disciplinary application or research even including “unexploded ordnance” are all welcome.
